Geomatic was formulated in Amsterdam, Holland in 1995 but it all started much earlier in 1985 when they discovered what man can do with two tape recorders and a microphone.
Year later they started a synth band with some other friends. After graduating from music college they trained as audio technicians.
As a band they played for 5 years at the different festivals and in local clubs. During that time they started experimenting with the sound, overdubbing vocal effects with environmental samples and noises.
In 1992 they moved to Amsterdam and in 1995 bought their first sampler to start a new journey of music making.

1999 – The cut “”Entered Apprentice”” apperead on “Ambient Landscapes Vol.2″(DarkDuckRecords).
2001 – First debut album “Control Agents” on Triumvirate label.
2002 – Produced a soundtrack for German documentary film.
2007 – Contributed music for two episodes of “Wave Chasers” (Warren Miller Entertainment).
2008 – Released second album “Blue Beam” on french label M-Tronic.
2010 – “64 Light Years Away” on Tympanik Audio label.
2013 – Collaboration project “Cosmochemistry” with Andrew Lagowski.
2018 – Transcommunication album released on GS Productions & Strange Place Records
